General info about renewals
14 days before your domain name expires, you will generally receive an invoice for renewing the domain name. The renewal period is based on the period you chose when registering the domain name.
You will automatically receive reminders about the domain renewal 14, 7, and 2 days before the domain’s expiration date, as well as 5 days after the expiration date.
Automatic renewal
By default, your domain name is configured for automatic renewal. This means the system will automatically send you an invoice for the domain renewal 14 days before the payment date.
Once the invoice for your domain renewal is paid, the renewal is automatically sent to the domain registry managing the specific TLD.
Manual renewal
If you have chosen not to renew your domain name automatically, you will not receive any domain renewal invoice. You will still receive reminders that the domain name is about to expire.
You can follow the link in the email to renew your domain. You can also manually renew your domain names via this link: Renew domains
Early renewal
Many TLDs allow you to renew your domain name early. If early renewal is possible, you will see this option when performing a manual domain renewal.
Change renewal period
If you wish to change the renewal period of your domain name (e.g., from 1 year to 5 years), this can be done either by performing a manual domain renewal or by contacting our customer support.
