How do I create a new FTP user?

First you'll need to log in to your Control Panel and access the tab Sites -> FTP-Accounts. Then click Add new FTP-User and enter the following information:

    • Website select the site you wish to create the FTP user for.
    • Username choose your username, it will be added to your username for RemoteControlPanel.
      In the example, your username for FTP becomes xxxftp
    • Password enter the desired password.
    • Active make sure this field is activated aelse you can't log in with the user.

Then click Save.

Create FTP user



You can test your FTP account after a couple of minutes, by logging in with your preferred FTP client. Remember to place your files in the web folder.
