How do I upload files with Filezilla?

Filezilla is a free FTP client, that can be used to upload your files to your website.

The software can be downloaded here.

When Filezilla is installed and started, you'll log in by following these steps:

    • Host enter your domain name here (for example your-domain.dk).
    • Username enter your FTP username, it can be found in the Control Panel at Sites -> FTP-Accounts.
    • Password enter your FTP password, it can be changed in the Control Panel at Sites -> FTP-Accounts.
    • Port doesn't need any changes - the FTP client will find the information itself.


Click Quickconnect to log in to the server.

On the left, you'll see the files on your own computer, called Local site:

On the right side, you'll see the Remote site which is the content on the server. You need to upload the files to the folder web. You can either drag your files to it, from the Local site (files on your computer) to the left, or double click web to enter it and right click your files from Local site and select Upload.
